It was a spectacular day for Gerald and Ellen from Berlin, Germany to go on a Central Otago Safari to the Serpentine Stamper Battery Rough Ridge Mountains. They had a lovely lunch at the Serpentine Church and the views were amazing of Lower and Upper Manorburn Dam and Poolburn Dam.

It’s amazing to see the Battery built in 1880 standing strong in amongst the tussocks. Book your safari today!

Tour with Alan to the Otago Goldfields at Serpentine.
This track is for a 4WD only. After we reached the Serpentine flat on the top of the South Rough Ridge, we stopped at Serpentine Union Church (based well over 1000 meter on the Serpentine flat) and had a delicious picknick. Our experienced guide Alan than took us to the trail to walk over 1 hour on a hot sunny day, down to the Golden Gully United Mining Co. water wheel and stamper battery. In the middle of nowhere we found the water wheel and got exited. Thank you for the great day!

It was a fantastic Central Otago Safaris trip with Matt and Denise to the Maniototo. The Blue Lake, St Bathans are absolutely beautiful in March.
